Shapes/Colors Felt Board
I would suggest cutting out a small, medium, and large of each shape/color. This gives options of sorting by shape, color, and size.
Colors
Muffin Tin Sorting - You can use a muffin pan, egg carton, or any other sectioned container. Paint the inside of the sections, place a piece of colored paper, or put a sticker in the bottom so the child can see which colors are supposed to go where. Use any small objects (pompoms, jelly beans, beads, Fruit Loops, etc).
Collections - Collect items around the house or yard of a certain color.
